All of our courses can be taught by our own staff, in conjunction with our business partners, of by your staff upon certification.

Authentic Leadership

This two-day program, along with the in-depth personal assessment that is an integral part of it, is the starting point for our entire leadership curriculum. The attached flyer describes its contents in more detail. A separate flyer describes our assessments in detail.

Communication and Team Effectiveness

This one-day workshop builds upon the personal insights gained during Authentic Leadership and utilizes each participant’s understanding of behavioral styles to improve communication with peers, superiors, subordinates, and team members. Through experiential exercises and simulations, participants also learn how to work and communicate effectively as a team. We cover skills for conflict resolution and the giving and receiving of feedback. A separate flyer describers our Leadership process.

Your Values are Showing

This half-day workshop builds upon participants’ understanding of the different motivations that people bring to their work that was first covered during Authentic Leadership. In that initial program, our focus is on understanding oneself and one’s own motivations. In this program, we concentrate on understanding others’ motivations and how to lead, guide, and elicit high performance from other people through their eyes.

Effective Presentation Skills

This is a highly interactive two-and-a-half day program for a small number of participants. We introduce participants to the foundational skills needed to give presentations effectively to groups both large and small. Each participant has ample time to practice and give short presentations to other members of the class, with facilitated feedback. Presentations are video-taped for subsequent one-on-one feedback and review upon completion of the program.Because of its nature, this workshop is suitable for a class size of approximately 10 participants.

Writing for Clarity

The ability to express oneself clearly in writing is an essential skill of management. This one-day workshop covers the essentials of effective written communication in business. We cover letters, memos, reports, proposals, and e-mail. The workshop is followed by a one-hour individual tutorial with each participant to review samples of their current written work.

Service Quality

This two-day program forms the cornerstone of a company’s initiative to take customer satisfaction seriously. It should be attended by every person in the company, including senior management. It results in specific, concrete action steps and recommendations for the company to take to ensure customer satisfaction at every “moment of truth”.

Task Quotient

This highly experiential half-day program works in conjunction with our assessment tool known as the Developmental TQ. The TQ, or Task Quotient, assesses the relative preference for, and thresholds of tolerance for, three specific task types: routine, troubleshooting, and project. The more regularly people can perform their work in a way that aligns with their personal preferences for task type, the more effective, productive, and motivated they will be. The more likely they will be able to achieve a state of “flow” through their work.

Coaching

In addition to workshops, we also conduct one-on-one coaching for managers and leaders on an as-requested basis. This has proven to be a powerful way to accelerate a person’s professional growth while developing and applying new skills over a period of time. Coaching relationships are generally for six- to twelve-month periods and consist of twice monthly coaching sessions by phone. Each session is approximately one-and-a-half hours long. A separate flyer describes our coaching practices in more detail.
